Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Engineering Director.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead Software and Cloud Engineering teams and collaborate across the organization to ensure the successful launch of new products and ongoing refinements of existing products
• Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of key performance metrics and oversee operational efficiency
• Champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement and lead hiring, performance management, compensation, and evaluation of team members

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software experience with exposure to C-level leaders and 5+ years leading software development teams
• Experience with web development technologies and SDLC and agile software development methodologies
• Extensive experience with software architecture and patterns, including AWS, containers and orchestration systems
• Demonstrated ability to inspire confidence, ownership, and accountability in the platforms within scope
