Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company in the healthcare industry is looking for an Engineering Director for their platform.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for internal and external engineering teams
• Manage a team of 20+ engineers, hire, mentor, motivate, and hold team members accountable for delivering high-quality results
• Define and deliver the end-to-end technical roadmap, from back-end infrastructure to frontend mobile applications

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of engineering experience implementing and maintaining complex technology stacks with expertise in Python, React/React Native, AWS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL
• 5+ years leading and managing an engineering team
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Experience building scalable and performant APIs and data models
• Familiarity with HIPAA/GDPR/COPPA
