Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Director for their platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for internal and external engineering teams
• Manage a team of 20+ engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and accountability
• Define and deliver the technical roadmap and align technical decisions with business goals

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of engineering experience with expertise in Python, React/React Native, AWS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL
• 5+ years of leadership and management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Experience building scalable APIs and familiarity with HIPAA/GDPR/COPPA
• Comfortable in a startup environment and ability to be hands-on with code
