Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Lead to shape the technical direction of programs and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management while articulating delivery requirements to team members
• Provide coaching and development to engineering team members, defining growth goals and fostering a learning culture
• Lead team processes, advocate for technical solutions, and oversee hiring and performance management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience, with relevant experience potentially substituting for education
• 2+ years of mentoring and coaching experience in a technical environment
• Extensive experience in software development and customer interactions
• Experience in leading tasking efforts to support delivery
• General understanding of government contracting requirements and regulations is preferred
