Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading software delivery teams, the remote Engineering Lead will design and develop web applications for John Deere Operations Center, providing engineering leadership and mentoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead one to two software delivery teams in developing web applications
• Define design best practices and analyze application performance for web application development
• Mentor and develop team members while attracting and retaining engineering talent

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, or related IT discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading software development teams and acting as a technical mentor
• Experience building web-client or server-side applications/services
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
