Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Engineering Lead will shape the technical direction of the program, mentor engineering team members, and manage performance while collaborating with leadership to meet delivery requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management while articulating delivery requirements to team members
• Provide coaching and development to engineering team members, defining growth goals and fostering a culture of learning
• Lead team processes, advocate for best technical solutions, and participate in client-facing communications and strategic planning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in modernized technology stack including Java 17+, Spring Boot, and React/Next.js
• Experience with legacy technology stack such as MUMPS and Java Server Pages
• 2+ years of mentoring and coaching experience in a technical environment
• Extensive experience in formal and informal communication with customers and team members
