Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading a multi-team product area, the full-time Engineering Lead will manage engineering managers, co-own outcomes with product and design counterparts, and drive technical excellence across the product area in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product area's objectives and engineering plans, translating company priorities into actionable team plans
• Develop and coach engineering managers to enhance performance and uphold engineering practices
• Drive architecture and systems design decisions, ensuring reliability and operational readiness across the product area

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing managers with direct reports who are also people managers
• 7+ years in technical roles, with a strong background as an individual contributor
• Proven experience owning a product area or multi-team scope with measurable business outcomes
• Experience in building or evolving engineering practices across multiple teams
• Strong written communication skills, capable of articulating strategy and trade-offs clearly
