Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs business unit, the remote Engineering Lead will manage technical direction, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with leadership to ensure successful program delivery while fostering a culture of growth and development.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management while articulating delivery requirements to team members
• Provide coaching and development to engineering team members, defining growth goals and creating a learning culture
• Lead team processes and advocate for the best technical solutions while communicating effectively with stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of engineering experience
• Expert experience with Ruby on Rails, API Design & Development
• Experience with React/Redux, JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• Experience with Postman, Datadog, and RSpec
• Experience mentoring junior developers
