Job Summary
Leading engineering teams in a remote capacity, the full-time Engineering Lead will provide technical direction, mentor team members, and ensure successful software delivery while collaborating with program leadership to define technical strategies and improve engineering processes.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with program and engineering leadership to define technical direction and support successful program delivery
- Provide technical leadership and direction across engineering teams, guiding decisions involving Java, Spring, APIs, and microservices
- Coach and develop engineers while managing performance, hiring, and team development activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong technical background in Java, Spring, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and overseeing software delivery
- 2+ years of experience mentoring or coaching engineers
- Extensive experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
