Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction and day-to-day operations of a web platform, the full-time Engineering Lead will drive architecture decisions, manage agile processes, and collaborate with product teams, all while working in a hybrid environment with remote flexibility and regular on-site meetings in New York City.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive code standards and technical architecture norms while participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality output
• Run day-to-day team operations, including standups, sprint planning, and issue triage, while enhancing team communication and collaboration
• Collaborate with product management to validate work in progress, contribute to roadmap planning, and translate product requirements into actionable engineering tasks

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of engineering team management experience
• 1+ years of experience using AI technologies in a professional context
• Expertise in web development, including JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend, backend, and databases
• Strong skills in product collaboration and agile processes
