Job Summary
Owning the technical direction and delivery of a web platform, the full-time Engineering Lead will drive architecture, set engineering standards, and collaborate closely with Product while working in a hybrid environment near NYC.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the platform, contributing to complex work and maintaining delivery
- Manage the shared delivery plan, tracking progress and coordinating across a distributed team
- Collaborate with Product to transform features from concept to well-defined engineering tasks and contribute to roadmap planning
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years leading delivery for a small engineering team
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, comfortable with frontend, backend, and databases
- Experience in coordinating and aligning distributed teams
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultures and time zones
