Driving the technical direction of a community-focused web platform, the full-time Engineering Lead will manage architecture, set engineering standards, and ensure seamless delivery while collaborating closely with product teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the platform, contributing to complex code and maintaining engineering standards
- Manage the shared delivery plan, tracking progress and coordinating across a distributed team to keep work unblocked
- Collaborate with Product to transform feature ideas into well-defined engineering tasks and contribute to roadmap planning
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years leading delivery for a small engineering team
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience in coordinating work across distributed teams
- Ability to effectively communicate and align priorities across diverse cultures and time zones
