Job Summary
Owning the technical direction and delivery of a web platform, the full-time Engineering Lead will manage architecture, set engineering standards, and collaborate closely with Product while working in a hybrid environment in the NYC metropolitan area.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the platform, ensuring high engineering standards
- Manage the shared delivery plan, tracking progress and coordinating across a distributed team
- Collaborate with Product to transform feature ideas into well-defined engineering tasks and contribute to roadmap planning
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading delivery for a small engineering team
- Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including frontend, backend, and databases
- Experience in improving engineering practices and processes
- Comfortable working in a distributed, multicultural team environment
