Job Summary
Driving the technical direction and delivery of a web platform, the full-time Engineering Lead will oversee architecture, set engineering standards, and collaborate closely with Product while working in a hybrid environment based in the NYC metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the platform, contributing to complex work and maintaining delivery
- Manage the shared delivery plan by sequencing work, tracking progress, and coordinating across a distributed team
- Collaborate with Product to translate features from concept to well-defined engineering tasks, ensuring alignment with product intent
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years leading delivery for a small engineering team
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, comfortable with frontend, backend, and databases
- Experience in coordinating and leading a distributed team
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and cultures
