Job Summary
Leading the development of AI-powered products, the full-time remote Engineering Lead, Applied AI will manage the AI codebase, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to enhance clinician effectiveness and patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the AI product suite to improve clinician effectiveness
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to create user-centric experiences for patients and providers
- Grow and mentor a team of engineers, setting high standards for code quality and architectural decisions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on applied AI from prototype to production
- Deep familiarity with modern AI systems, including LLM APIs and agentic systems
- Hands-on experience with Node.js/NestJS and modern React/TypeScript, as well as AWS infrastructure
- Proven technical leadership experience and ability to set quality standards for engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
