Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee a team of engineers while balancing development, management, and architectural responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 2 to 6 engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and setting quarterly goals
• Lead a cross-functional team using Agile principles to ensure timely delivery of product roadmap items
• Champion software quality and improve engineering practices and processes within the team

Required Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with languages including PHP
• Experience in architecture design and leading software development teams
• Strong knowledge of design and integration patterns
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean delivery approaches, including TDD and Continuous Integration
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs
