Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of approximately 25 engineers, the full-time remote Head of Engineering will drive the development of an AI-first engineering organization, enhance team performance through innovative tooling and workflows, and ensure engineering's influential role in product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement AI-driven engineering standards, workflows, and team structure
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture through direct feedback and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the CPO and product managers on organizational design and hiring strategies

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading lean, high-output engineering teams
• Technical expertise in distributed systems, data pipelines, and AI tooling
• Demonstrated ability to increase team output and quality without increasing headcount
• Experience implementing AI tooling into production workflows
• Background in a startup environment, particularly at Series A or B stages
