Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee engineering teams and contribute to the development of digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and contribute to engineering team(s) while planning and expanding services and products
• Collaborate with product and engineering managers to design and release new features and systems
• Manage the technical infrastructure and ensure public-facing services meet performance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing an engineering team, preferably with remote staff
• Background in a 24x7 production environment and managing large server infrastructure
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, Unix shell scripting, and Python
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work in a loosely-structured environment with multiple projects
