Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Platform to lead their Platform team in developing scalable core services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 software engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration
• Define and own the API strategy, ensuring best practices for design, documentation, and security
• Lead the development of scalable backend services and drive the integration roadmap with third-party applications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a people management role
• Strong experience in designing and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services, preferably with Python frameworks
• Proven track record of building complex third-party integrations, especially with Accounting/ERP systems
• Familiarity with integration platforms or iPaaS tools and understanding of developer platform challenges
• Knowledge of agile development practices, CI/CD, and microservice architecture
