Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical mentorship and leadership
• Manage the quality and delivery of the team's work, ensuring the availability and performance of critical services
• Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize objectives while building reliable data services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in building distributed system architecture
• Strong programming skills in Python, and SQL or SparkSQL
• Experience with data stores, pipeline orchestration tools, and data processing technologies
• Familiarity with deployment and monitoring infrastructure in public cloud platforms
