Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams focused on developing innovative technologies for risk and trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee development of reusable application-layer frameworks and improve developer experiences for faster, safer releases
• Guide the team in building operational playbooks and strategies to prepare the trading platform for peak traffic events
• Shape a combined roadmap that balances long-term platform investment with near-term operational readiness while fostering an engineering culture of excellence

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engineering leadership with a focus on mentoring and inspiring technical excellence
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in a cloud-native, service-oriented environment
• Proven experience building internal tools, frameworks, or platform libraries used across multiple teams
• Demonstrated success leading teams responsible for production operations and performance in a high-scale domain
• Strong cross-team collaboration skills, especially across platform, product, and operations boundaries
