Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a product-aligned engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Own the delivery of team commitments with a focus on validated outcomes and long-term platform health
• Provide technical direction and ensure systems are scalable, observable, secure, and cost-effective

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and operating enterprise-grade SaaS systems
• 2+ years of formal people management experience leading teams of 5+ engineers
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to review designs and code across backend and frontend systems
• Experience delivering complex systems incrementally in a production environment
• Experience working with data-intensive systems (e.g., relational and/or NoSQL databases, APIs, event-driven systems)
