Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Engineering to lead their Order Management System engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
• Provide architectural and technical guidance for scalability and maintainability of the OMS
• Oversee the development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business objectives

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering, with 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
• Strong background in development, preferably in Elixir/Phoenix or other functional programming languages
• Experience working on large-scale distributed systems or complex enterprise applications
• Ability to mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of learning
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and system architecture
