Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on certificate workflow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5+ full stack engineers building distributed certificate workflow systems
• Own system design, architecture, and SLOs ensuring scalability, performance, security, and availability
• Collaborate with product and program leadership to define roadmaps and delivery timelines

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years leading engineering teams, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 5 years of industry experience in Python and Java development with SQL/NoSQL databases, and 3 years of TypeScript experience
• Solid experience in system design fundamentals, distributed systems, Public Key Infrastructure, TLS, and orchestration workflows
• Proven ability in resolving complex production issues and delivering solutions under pressure
• Experience with ACME protocol, Certificate Transparency logs, Kubernetes, Boulder, and Cert-Manager preferred
