Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager experienced with Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a pod of developers and manage team dynamics through regular 1:1s and agile ceremonies
• Translate product needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Architect new features, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality delivery with data-driven KPIs

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production applications with Ruby on Rails
• Approximately 1 year of people management experience in a Team Lead or Manager role
• Proven experience leading developers in a scrum/agile environment
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, domain-driven design, and robust testing
• Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, GitHub, and Jira
