Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Engineering to lead and mentor a team of engineers in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to enhance their performance and career growth
• Drive new initiatives for reporting and analytics products and manage the technical direction of the team's domain
• Champion SDLC best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on product roadmaps

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams (ideally 5+ individuals)
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a preference for start-up experience
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and distributed system architecture
• Proficiency in modern programming languages/frameworks such as JS, TS, Ruby, C#, Python, and React
• Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC fundamentals
