Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Merchant Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly manage 6 engineers across two squads with distinct technical profiles
• Stay engaged in merge requests, technical decisions, and day-to-day engineering quality
• Experiment with and help establish AI tooling practices that scale the team's output

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience shipping production software, preferably as an independent contributor
• Comfort in React or Python codebases, preferably both
• Ability to read and understand code, not just tickets
• Strong bias to action with low tolerance for unresolved ambiguity
• Genuine curiosity about the impact of LLMs and AI tooling on engineering workflows
