Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager for the Recommendations team, focusing on building a top-tier recommendations-as-a-service product.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the quality and impact of recommendations, driving improvements in key business metrics
• Lead and grow the engineering team through hiring, coaching, and creating a productive work environment
• Set direction for the team and translate product goals into a clear, executable engineering plan

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
• Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud infrastructure, SQL, and at least one deep learning framework
• Solid engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and APIs
• Experience in setting technical direction and translating product goals into actionable plans
