Job Summary

Engineering Manager, a fully remote, temp-to-hire position requiring a strong software engineer with supervisory experience, responsible for leading engineering teams and actively contributing to system design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams, ensuring effective delivery of projects
• Contribute to system design and architecture while engaging in hands-on coding
• Implement modern engineering practices such as CI/CD and automated testing

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a management role
• Strong hands-on development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience in building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery initiatives
• Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
