Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Revenue pod, the hybrid Engineering Manager will oversee core product surfaces, ship production code across the stack, and enhance engineering standards while managing a team, with an expected focus of 70% hands-on building and 30% management.

Key responsibilities

• Ship production code and set the bar for AI-native engineering across the pod
• Raise execution standards through effective planning, prioritization, and delivery
• Coach and develop engineers by providing timely feedback and establishing clear performance expectations

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of people management experience, including hiring and performance management
• Recent hands-on engineering experience with a strong track record of raising engineering standards
• Fluency with AI-augmented development workflows and tools
• High standards for code quality, product craft, and execution
• Ability to quickly assess and elevate team performance without causing unnecessary drag
