Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the Treasury pod, focusing on delivering innovative financial infrastructure and enhancing engineering practices for nonprofit users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to execute the Treasury engineering strategy
• Manage and mentor a team of full-stack engineers in developing financial tools and dashboards
• Drive the development of financial systems, ensuring security, reliability, and alignment with company objectives

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP/Laravel)
• Hands-on experience designing scalable financial or fintech systems, including payment processing and compliance
• At least 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers
• Strong understanding of financial compliance and security requirements in regulated environments
• Proven experience in hiring and developing remote engineering teams
