Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a product engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable systems while fostering a high-performing engineering culture and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Own delivery and execution for the engineering team, ensuring work is well-scoped and prioritized
• Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable, while reinforcing strong engineering practices
• Lead team performance management, including recruitment, coaching, and career development

Required qualifications:

• Experience building and operating backend services, APIs, or distributed systems
• Proven experience managing or leading a team of engineers, with a focus on coaching and development
• Experience owning delivery for a team in agile or iterative development environments
• Strong understanding of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
• Ability to guide technical decisions and mentor engineers to improve team practices
