Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Engineering Manager in a remote capacity, the successful candidate will manage two squads of engineers focused on enhancing merchant end-user experiences through data analytics and design systems, while actively participating in code reviews and technical decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage 6 engineers across two squads with distinct technical profiles
• Stay engaged in merge requests, technical decisions, and day-to-day engineering quality
• Experiment with and help establish AI tooling practices that scale the team's output

Required qualifications

• Prior experience shipping production software, preferably as an independent contributor
• Comfort in React or Python codebases, ideally both
• A strong bias to action with a low tolerance for unresolved ambiguity
• Genuine curiosity about how LLMs and AI tooling are transforming engineering workflows
• Ability to read and understand code, not just tickets
