Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a small engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee sprint execution, drive release quality, and foster a thriving team culture while transitioning to AI-native development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 engineers and 1 QA, providing regular feedback and investment in their professional growth
• Own sprint health and delivery consistency, ensuring effective planning, execution, and shipping of projects
• Establish and maintain engineering performance standards, including code review practices and release readiness criteria

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering management role
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring engineers, with a track record of developing strong teams
• Experience leading a team through AI tool adoption and building onboarding standards
• Hands-on technical ability to engage with the codebase and participate in design discussions
• Comfort operating in a startup environment with shifting priorities and limited resources
