Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Platform team, the full-time Engineering Manager will enhance and scale the Postgres-powered Rails monolith on AWS Fargate, ensuring reliability, security, and collaboration across product engineering in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Platform team to foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
• Partner with Engineering and Product Managers to plan and prioritize team initiatives
• Drive improvements in the scalability, reliability, and security of the platform

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams with a focus on collaboration and delivery
• Strong background in Platform/SRE, maintaining large-scale applications
• Familiarity with Rails, Ruby, Postgres, AWS containerized environments, and Terraform
• Deep understanding of deployment safety practices, including canaries and blue/green deployments
• Operational maturity in infrastructure upgrades and compliance, with SOC2 experience preferred
