Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager, the full-time remote position will lead a team of engineers in developing high-quality software for an AI platform while actively contributing to architecture and coding efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of engineers, providing coaching and fostering a strong engineering culture
• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of applications and APIs while remaining hands-on with coding
• Drive technical discussions on architecture, scalability, and engineering best practices, ensuring reliable delivery execution

Required qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on leading technical direction
• Previous people management experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring engineers
• Strong technical credibility with the ability to contribute code and review designs
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
