Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will drive the development of Render's internal developer platform, enhancing system reliability and user experience while managing key product initiatives from ideation to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of accountability
• Drive execution on product initiatives, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality
• Engage in technical discussions to guide system design and architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with user needs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Engineer in an Infrastructure or similar team
• 4+ years of experience in people management, including hiring and mentorship
• Strong technical background with expertise in system design and architecture
• Proven ability to translate engineering goals into actionable roadmaps and features
• Experience improving Reliability and Developer Experience through tools and processes
