Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading multiple software teams, the remote Engineering Manager will oversee 12-20 engineers, focusing on their development, performance, and career growth while managing stakeholder relationships and driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop multiple teams of engineers, supporting their growth and career direction
• Lead blended teams of contractors and full-time staff, ensuring productivity and team health
• Guide teams through change, including the adoption of AI tools and new working methods

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience managing software engineers in a regulated environment, such as payments or financial services
• Track record of leading teams through change and adopting new tools
• Technical depth to challenge engineering decisions without being hands-on
• Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams
