Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of full-stack software engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager focused on Scenario Planning will drive the development of advanced planning capabilities, manage cross-functional technical efforts, and shape technical roadmaps while working remotely or from the Bellevue, WA office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage one or more teams of engineers, driving development of advanced planning capabilities within the Smartsheet product
• Lead cross-functional technical efforts, building alignment and resolving dependencies across the organization
• Plan and deliver complex projects, managing risks and communicating effectively with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years managing software engineering teams
• Deep software development skills in at least one systems development language such as Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with modern technology stacks for building scalable, highly available cloud applications
• Experience with AWS or another cloud environment
• CS/Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
