Job Summary

To optimize global delivery operations, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage a distributed team of approximately 10 engineers, focusing on executing the technical roadmap, balancing planned and reactive work, and overseeing incident management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive global engineering delivery by executing the technical roadmap across a fully distributed team and managing sprint commitments
• Establish frameworks for balancing planned feature development with ad-hoc bug triage and prioritization
• Define and manage incident response processes to ensure efficient handling of real-time issues across the logistics platform

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a team of approximately 10 software engineers in a global, asynchronous environment
• Proficiency in modern AI development tools and a clear philosophy on their integration into engineering practices
• Experience in building triage systems for production incidents and managing real-time incident responses
• Exceptional written communication skills with a focus on thorough documentation and clear team interactions
• Strong engineering background with the ability to navigate code reviews and understand cloud workflows
