Job Summary

Leading a senior engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will drive the technical strategy and platform vision for Virta's Product Platform, focusing on optimizing software development processes and enhancing cross-team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering managers to resolve delivery friction and enhance platform adoption across teams
• Drive continuous innovation in the software development life cycle, emphasizing AI-native development practices
• Lead and support a high-ownership team, facilitating technical decision-making and career development for senior engineers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading senior engineering teams with a focus on building frameworks or cross-team services
• Strong influencing skills to promote centralized frameworks across teams without direct authority
• Experience aligning platform timelines with product roadmaps to minimize cross-team friction
• Technical fluency in platform infrastructure or distributed systems
• Ability to interpret delivery metrics to identify areas for improvement and intervention
