Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Hands-on and technically proficient, the full-time salaried Engineering Manager will oversee Revance's digital platform engineering, managing internal teams and vendor partnerships while ensuring quality and capability across B2C and B2B digital properties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the internal engineering team, ensuring quality delivery and evolving project scope towards higher-value development work
• Own strategic vendor relationships, ensuring accountability for staffing and capability standards while transitioning work in-house as needed
• Identify and address technical debt, maintaining cross-pod engineering consistency and operational reliability across platforms

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in engineering team management
• Hands-on full stack engineering experience with proficiency in Salesforce and modern web technologies (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node)
• Demonstrated experience in building and growing internal engineering teams
• Experience transitioning work from vendor partners to internal teams successfully
• Familiarity with managing hybrid stacks and offshore vendor teams
