Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support the growth of the engineering division, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee the Core and Growth teams, managing daily operations, mentoring engineers, and collaborating on project strategies while working remotely or onsite in Dallas, TX, or Santa Monica, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8 direct reports across Core and Growth teams, focusing on performance management and mentorship
• Collaborate with Product teams to scope and design projects aligned with strategic objectives while identifying process improvements
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to drive innovative solutions and connect engineering milestones to revenue outcomes

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
• 1-2+ years of experience managing a technology team, with a preference for experience in globally distributed teams
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering or AI/ML, with familiarity in Computer Vision or Data Analysis preferred
• Strong knowledge of Python and experience with scalable, cloud-based environments, preferably within the AWS ecosystem
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical team members
