Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing development team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the execution and delivery of Sysdig's next-generation Cloud Security Posture Management product while driving cross-functional initiatives and managing complex dependencies.

Key responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a development team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Communicate team priorities and own the planning and tracking of sprint deliverables
• Drive strategic initiatives across the organization, aligning product, security, and infrastructure teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives in distributed systems
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering and developing automated workflows
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments and containerized technologies
• Strong understanding of scalable, high-performance microservices architecture
