Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of 4+ engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee team growth and performance, drive the adoption of AI-native engineering practices, and ensure the successful execution of technical initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team performance through regular feedback, growth plans, and performance reviews
• Define and own the team's technical roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that align with business objectives
• Champion the effective and responsible use of AI-enabled development tools within the engineering team

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with proficiency in one or more technical areas
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, such as team lead or engineering manager
• Experience with modern web application stacks, including Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation, platform security, and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled development tools and a proactive approach to evolving technology
