Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software and data engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager will own the technical vision for SeatGeek's core financial systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration and automation of financial data while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team focused on building and iterating tools for finance data interactions
• Define and deliver the architecture for financial automation systems while collaborating across teams
• Provide performance feedback, career development support, and play an active role in recruiting efforts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, primarily focused on coding
• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive teams
• Proven track record in handling transactional data in a SOX controlled environment
• Experience in building and leading lean teams to deliver impactful results
• Familiarity with financial operations and reporting principles, and hands-on experience with automation tools
