Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering efforts for automated item identification and authentication systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance warehouse execution workflows in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineers, promoting technical excellence and accountability
• Collaborate with Product Management and AI/ML teams to develop and iterate on internal computer vision systems
• Ensure the scalability and performance of backend services supporting the intake flow and global Item Master database

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in distributed software development
• Proven experience architecting and operating cloud-native systems and APIs
• Hands-on collaboration with Data Science or Machine Learning teams on AI-related software deployment
• Strong expertise in relational database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
