Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Balancing leadership and technical expertise, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will mentor a talented team of engineers, contribute to architectural discussions, and drive the execution of product features and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own performance management, coaching, and career growth for a diverse team of engineers
• Actively contribute to development tasks, code reviews, and team ecosystem enhancements
• Establish and track KPIs to measure team performance, code quality, and execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in direct people and team management
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development or cloud systems/infrastructure engineering
• Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating large-scale web applications or managing infrastructure-as-code with AWS services
• Proficiency with version control using Git
