Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager for the Platform Foundations team, this full-time remote position will lead the development of engineering standards and foundational components for a cloud-native telecom platform while managing a small team of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leadership to evolve and standardize the foundational architecture for a cloud-native telecom platform
• Own developer experience by building tooling, enhancing CI pipeline performance, and managing dependency frameworks
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, including RFCs, ADRs, and architecture reviews

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with proficiency in Golang or similar languages
• Deep experience with event-driven and async architectures such as Kafka or NATS
• Background in platform or infrastructure engineering with experience in building shared internal platforms
• Experience defining engineering standards at an organizational level
• Strong DevOps sensibility, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native infrastructure
