Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-caliber team of backend engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee the development of core infrastructure systems, including distributed systems and low-latency data processing, in a remote capacity from Poland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high-performing remote engineering teams, ensuring delivery quality and team health
• Own the architecture and reliability of high-scale systems, defining and driving the technical roadmap
• Implement scalable engineering processes and foster a culture of extreme ownership and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing platform and backend teams focused on distributed architecture
• 7+ years of hands-on backend experience with large-scale, low-latency distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
• Strong technical background with familiarity in technologies such as Kafka, ClickHouse, and Redis
• Proven track record of operational excellence and effective development processes
• Experience leading complex technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
